Through the support of the Netherlands Consulate General in Erbil, students from the College of Agriculture Engineering Science at Salahaddin University had an opportunity to visit several large-scale agricultural companies in Erbil. The purpose of these visits is to connect students with practical agribusiness.
This summer training helped students gain practical information into the operations, challenges, and opportunities in the agricultural sector. It will also foster an entrepreneurial mindset and inspiring them to explore future career paths in agribusiness.
The program will conclude this Thursday with a final workshop and ceremony, featuring student presentations, discussions with experts, and certificate distribution. The event will bring together students, lecturers, and representatives from the Dutch Consulate and local agricultural organizations to celebrate the achievements and learning of the students.
