Thursday 7/5/2026, a scientific seminar entitled “The Chemical and Industrial Applications of Cellulose and Its Derivatives” was presented in the Department of Soil and Water Management by Assist. Prof. Dr. Chnar Hadi, in the presence of the Head of the Department and the department’s academic staff. The seminar highlighted the importance of cellulose and its derivatives in various chemical and industrial fields, including environmentally friendly materials, sustainable production processes, and modern industrial applications. The seminar also emphasized the role of scientific research in supporting sustainable development and innovation, particularly in relation to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action), through promoting sustainable materials and reducing environmental impacts in industrial sectors.
