On March 17, 2025, the Forestry Department of our college held a symposium under the title “A Tribute to the International Day of Forests” at the university level, with the participation of the Governor of Erbil, a representative of the Ministry of Higher Education, a representative of the University President, as well as officials from the Erbil Forestry Directorate, Environment and Parks Department, and the presence of Mr. Y. Ragro. A large number of professors from the Center for Academic Enlightenment at Salahaddin University also took part in the event.
