On Monday 25/05/2026 a seminar was presented by Professor Assistant Dr. Sabir Othman Hamad and Dr. Arshad Abdulkhaliq Yasin, entitled:“Agrotourism as a Tool for Rural Poverty Reduction: Lessons from China and Opportunities for the Kurdistan Region”
This seminar followed a study visit, which involved the delegation of academic staff being sent by Salahaddin University–Erbil to China, as part of a special programme on poverty reduction in China. The programme was organised by the International Centre for Poverty Reduction in China.
